About Us
Nestled in suburbs of South Manchester, Cornerstones Guest House stands as a testament to both history and hospitality.
This enchanting guesthouse, with its foundations laid in 1871, began its journey as a maternity home, evolving through the ages to become the cherished establishment it is today. In 1986, the transition into The Cornerstones Guest House marked a new chapter, transforming it into a beacon of warmth and welcome.
The revival of this architectural gem was a labor of love, stretching over three years, with every corner painstakingly refurbished by the hands of its dedicated owners. Despite financial hurdles, the essence and structure of the original building have been meticulously preserved. Today, it harmoniously blends Victorian design elements with contemporary flair, offering guests an ambiance where history meets modern luxury.
Beyond its historical charm, Cornerstones Guest House boasts an unbeatable location for both leisure and business travelers. Situated on the A56, with Brooklands Metrolink station just a five-minute walk away, guests enjoy seamless access to Manchester City Center, the iconic Old Trafford Cricket and Football Stadiums, and the sprawling Trafford Centre Shopping Complex. Whether you're here to explore the urban allure of Manchester, catch a thrilling match, or indulge in retail therapy, our guesthouse serves as the perfect base.
Come stay with us at Cornerstones Guest House, where every stay is steeped in history and every journey begins with a warm welcome.
